- Order lacarte La Métropole Mobilité. The card alone does not allow travel; it must be loaded with a ticket, even if it is free. Once the form is processed, you will receive your Métropole Mobilité card at home. Only reserved for people who have never held a transport card (lacarte, Transpass, PassProvence, etc.). Click here. If there is no suitable means of public transportation for your child to get to school and you are required to use your personal vehicle to accompany your child to school, a flat-rate allowance (formerly mileage allowance) may be requested under certain conditions (see school transportation regulations).
The application must be made before December 31 of the current school year.
The application will be reviewed by the Customer Relations department, which will contact you and inform you of the outcome of your application. The flat-rate assistance is calculated based on the number of kilometers traveled. Payment of the flat-rate transportation assistance is subject to the number of days the student attends school. Two payments are made, in March and September. When two or more students in the same family make the same journey, only one application will be considered. If the routes differ, the flat-rate aid may be granted for each child.
Depending on the student's status, the conditions vary:
For half-board students:
Aid is granted provided that the home is more than 3 km from the nearest school or bus stop and in the absence of public transport.

- Proof of address less than 3 months old for the legal representative residing in one of the municipalities of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis
- Child's identity document
- Family record book (page of both parents and the child concerned by the file)
- In the event of joint custody, provide the divorce judgment or, failing that, a certificate from both parents on plain paper stating the respective addresses and the custody schedule.
- School certificate stating the quality. If the student is enrolled in an establishment other than their local establishment, the specialty or option followed, justifying the distance.
- Bank identity statement (RIB) of the legal representative who registered the child
- Sworn statement, accompanied by a copy of the identity document, specifying the place of work of the legal representatives
For boarding students:
Aid is granted provided that the home is more than 10 km from the nearest school or bus stop and in the absence of public transport.

- Proof of address less than 3 months old for the legal representative residing within the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis
- Certificate of education with mention of the capacity.
- Bank identity statement (RIB) of the legal representative who registered the child
- Family record book (page of the 2 parents and child concerned by the file)
- If the student is accommodated outside the establishment, proof of accommodation + proof of address of the host + photocopy of the host's identity document or proof of address in the student's name
- If the student is enrolled in an establishment other than their local establishment, the specialty or option followed, justifying the distance.
Please attach a recent passport photo of the person with reduced mobility, their ID, and the front and back of the Mobility Inclusion Card (CMI) (or the MDPH notification of entitlement to the CMI).

You are a teacher in a school and you are receiving foreign correspondents in your class for a period of less than a month. The Métropole Mobilité issues a free transport card loaded with a Métropole subscription to foreign correspondents of metropolitan students registered for school transport in order to allow these correspondents to go to the school with the student who is hosting them.
Please provide at least 15 days before the arrival of the correspondents, as an attachment, a table (Excel format) with the following elements:
- Name and contact details of the metropolitan school hosting the correspondent.
- Departure and arrival dates of the correspondents.
For each correspondent:
- Name and first name, date of birth of the correspondents.
- Name, first name, date of birth and municipality of student residence hosting correspondents.
