This solution, integrated into the range of mobility services offered to metropolitan residents, is operated by Karos and takes the form of a carpooling mobile application for commuting and any other type of travel. The key is benefits and incentives offered to both drivers and passengers.

- Define your profile: driver/passenger or alternating
- Enter your company/establishment in my account
- Register your metropolis pass subscription in the “My transport tickets” section

Prices
DRIVER :
PASSENGER : Your carpools are very attractively priced or even free.
0.50€ from 5km to 30km then 0.10€/additional km.
If your employer is a partner of the carpooling service of the Métropole Mobilité, you can benefit from employer rates and advantages
Free travel for public transport subscribers! (beyond 30km: €0.10/km)
Journeys of less than 5 km are not subsidized by the Metropolis.
The rates applicable for these journeys are:
- Driver gain: from 2 to 5 km: €1
- Passenger fare: from 2 to 5 km: €1
Operation supported by the State within the framework of the Green Fund.

- I am a driver, I earn 2€ per passenger
- I am a passenger: it’s free if I have a metropolitan transport pass. I pay €0.50 if I don’t have a metropolitan transport pass

- I am a passenger: it’s €0.40 if I have a metropolitan transport pass. I pay €0.90 if I don’t have a metropolitan transport pass

What if lecovoiturage could benefit your business?
Thanks to the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis, all businesses in the area, regardless of their size, can benefit from support systems for the deployment of the lecovoiturage service.
These programs include the creation of a company community on the mobile application (your employees will be able to recognize each other) and 6 months of free travel for passengers.
More than 250 employers in the Metropolis have already benefited from this program to improve the purchasing power of their employees, expand their recruitment pool, strengthen their CSR commitments, relieve congestion in their parking lots and strengthen cohesion and conviviality among employees.
Two levels of support are available depending on the size and needs of the companies.

Carpooling assistance
As a passenger : You can save up to €100/month!
- The first 3 carpools are free!
- If you have a Metropolitan pass, thanks to subsidies from the Metropolis, you pay €0 for journeys of 5 to 30 km, then €0.10 per additional km.
- If you don’t have a Metropolitan pass, you only pay €0.50 for journeys of 5 to 30 km, then €0.10 per additional km.
As a driver: You can earn between 80 and 160€/month !
- By carpooling with other people, you get 2€ /passenger/trip up to 20 km, then €0.10 per km.
The Government is accelerating the development of carpooling and launched the National Daily Carpooling Plan on December 13, 2022 to promote short-distance carpooling.
It sets a target of tripling the number of carpooling journeys by 2027.
Since January 1st 2025, drivers making their first carpool (via a platform such as Karos) will receive a bonus of €50 au 10th carpool made within 3 months and meeting the following conditions:
• 2 trips maximum per day
• 2 hours minimum between two consecutive journeys
• 2 km minimum per trip
This bonus is paid directly into your bank account previously registered in your personal account.
Please note: If you have received fuel vouchers or gift cards as part of CEE operations with operators Blablacar, Klaxit and Karos in the last 3 years, you are not eligible.
An attractive sponsorship offer
By inviting your loved ones to use lecovoiturage, you benefit from financial gains proportional to the number of referrals you sponsor.
As a sponsor, your rewards sont :
• €25 for 3 referrals
• €30 for 5 referrals
• €50 for 8 referrals, added directly to your Karos kitty.
As a godchild you earn:
• As a passenger, you benefit from a €5 reduction on your next carpools.
• As a driver, you benefit from €5 of credit.
