Air quality

Air quality: a priority and concrete measures

Combating air pollution is a priority for our region, a major environmental and public health issue. The Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis is committed to promoting sustainable mobility, offering alternative solutions to reduce pollutant emissions and preserve our quality of life.

Sustainable mobility solutions

The Mobility Metropolis actively encourages the adoption of environmentally friendly modes of transport, simple and ecological alternatives for your daily or occasional journeys.

Walking

For short journeys of less than 2 kilometers, walk is best. Use park-and-ride facilities to easily combine walking and public transport. This will reduce your carbon footprint while protecting your health.

levélo and levélo+

The levelo service is an efficient alternative to driving for journeys of less than 6 kilometers, while levelo+ is ideal for trips of less than 9 kilometers. By choosing these modes of transport, you are actively contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, while benefiting from an economical and healthy way of getting around.
